Strategy marketplace: buying and selling

Updated: 2026-07-05

A market for proven strategies, not ideas

Only a strategy currently running on a live bot can be listed for sale. A backtest or a paper bot is not enough — the marketplace is built around real track records, not promises. Listing a strategy automatically publishes its backing bot to the public leaderboard, so any buyer can check its history before paying for anything.

Selling: black-box or tunable

When you list a strategy, you choose how much of it a buyer gets to see:

  • Black-box — the buyer runs your exact strategy but cannot view or edit its rules
  • Tunable — the buyer receives the full, editable configuration and can adjust it freely
  • You can price either option, or both, independently

Buying: browse by track record

The buy side of the marketplace is the public leaderboard filtered down to listings that are actually for sale. You can rank candidates by profit, win rate, profit factor, drawdown or how long the bot has been running live, then compare a black-box listing against a tunable one before deciding which fits how hands-on you want to be.

How a purchase works

Buying a strategy is a single checkout using a standard crypto payment flow. Once it completes, the strategy is cloned directly into your own strategy library — instantly available to run, exactly like anything you built yourself.

Test before you trust it

A strategy’s past live performance is real, but market conditions change. Treat a bought strategy the same way you would treat one of your own: backtest it, run it as a paper bot for a while, and confirm it still behaves as expected before committing real funds to it.
